Yes -- just ASK!

When you check-in, immediately ask if there are any "openings" during your stay for Flag Family. We did this -- it was really cool. And the CM who took us up to the roof was really good, letting us ask all sorts of questions and giving us bits and pieces of Disney trivia (WL related and other!) They give you a certificate, too -- again, a neat experience. My one regret -- that I couldn't bring my whole family up there. We had a large group (12 of us) and when I signed us up, they told me no small kids or stairs-impaired persons, and really to limit it to 4-6 people only. Well, SIL and I decided to limit it to her, me, my sister, and BIL, leaving my DH and BIL to tend the 6 kids between them. They make it sound like you will be climbing for hours, but really, it's not a bad climb AT ALL. I think I have more stairs in my house! And my boys (aged 6 and 7 at the time) would have loved the view. MY DH would have, too. But alas, he originally scoffed at the idea (who wants to volunteer for WORK on vacation? And waste morning pool or park time? Are ya nuts?) therefore SIL and I felt the menfolk should do kid detail while we soaked in the view! Thanks for the pics. I filled out an online survey just last night on the official DVC website and indicated that a shortcoming of the site was a lack of pics of the resorts. These will be a nice "fix" when I'm longing to be there.

Ahh....gazing at geysers, one of my favorite pastimes. Just so you know, ya just bumped my own daughter off as my computer's "wallpaper" . We did the flag family a year or two ago but my MIL accidently erased all her digital shots of the event...ouch! Thanks for sharing yours with us.

Beautiful pics, thanks for posting. We just took a trip to bwv, on Feb. 15, then the RCCL Mariner western on 2/22.

What a coincidence. I am curious what you thought of the Mariner? We were former Magic cruisers, and really missed the DCL experience. We will have a DCL fix on points this summer.
