VWL laundry room?

Can anyone give me any info on the VWL laundry room?

Where is it at?

Does it have enough washers and dryers to have a couple loads running at the same time?

Is it ever busy?

Would you feel comfortable leaving your laundry going while waiting at the pool?


We have opted for a longer trip in a studio as opposed to a shorter trip in a one bedroom and as a result I'll need to do some laundry midway. Thanks for any info!

The laundry room is on the first floor of the villas, around the corner from the elevators. I popped in a few times and it never seemed crowded. I don't remember how many washers and dryers though, maybe 4 of each? I have never had trouble getting machines in any of the villas, I guess because most people have them in their one and two bedrooms. It is also pretty close to the villas pool, I don't think you would mind leaving your items.

I am pretty sure it only has 2 washers and 4 dryers. If you try to do your laundry during "off" times you shouldn't have a problem.

2 Washers
4 dryers.

Usually not busy in the morning. More busy in the evening.

I feel comfortable leaving my laundary and going to swim. Of course I check frequently so that I don't hold up the washers/dryers from others.

The room has a couple of chairs that you can sit and read if you like. Soda machine is just outside the door.

No one was in the laundry room on Christmas Day Maybe they didn't want to go out in the snow.

On one trip to VWL, we actually had a studio on the first floor across the hall from the laundry. Really convenient. We didn't mind the first floor, really quiet. The only issue was one morning shortly after getting dressed opened the curtain to find the grounds keeping crew outside the villa working ! This villa was a dedicated so a bit more room and looked out towards the walkway to the lodge.
