VWL in November?

I have a quick qyestion. We just bought, and will be going to SSR in July. We will also be taking a vacation with my parents in November of 07, and they will be staying at FW campground. So I plan to make a reservation for us at SSR for a one bedroom, and then trying at 7 months to switch to VWL, this will not be Thanksgiving week, we will actually be checking out the Saturday before Thanksgiving. So I am wondering what your thoughts are as to the likelyhood of getting something like that. I just figured we would be a boat ride away from them, and it would make things easier. Is that something I will have to call day to day to change over? Thanks for the help!

In 2006 we had a two bedroom at VWL in October (Columbus Day week) and had no trouble getting it at the 7 month window. We did call day by day for good measure but I think that we probably could have got it even without the day by day calling. I think that the type of room that you are getting also makes a difference. The studios can be harder to get than the 2 bedrooms because of the point difference.
