VWL elevators...

The had the boat running after e-night this last trip. We went to an e-night May 10 and were shocked and THRILLED that we were able to take the boat back!
This is terrific......we've done 2 E-Nights while staying at the WL and both times we had to take that darn Boon bus from the TTC afterwards. The most recent time was July '02. Wonder if they'll continue to run the WL boat....they should

Don't know about this time of year, but there was a warm, roaring fire in it when we were there in December.

The boat was running last Tuesday, June 3, after E-night. It was also running last July 30 after E-night. What date in July did you attend, MiaSRN62? I guess we were lucky the night we attended.

Quote from Nanajoyx2: "MrsToad, I was across the hall from you in 2560 last week, checked out on 6/6. It was indeed a long walk, but I also needed the exercise. Did you wear a lime green ribbon? I had one on my purse but didn't see anyone else with one."

You know, I think I only passed another resident in that hall once and it was a gentleman. Can someone fill me in on the green ribbons? Does it matter where/how you wear them? Thanks.

We had the dumpster view studio last October at VWL. The very last room on the third floor, but I believe it was a bigger studio than most because it was an end room - quite spacious actually. And like previous posters have said, you can see woods and the main lodge also. I actually think the dumpster view at the VWL is a whole lot better than the dumpster views at the main lodge.

Our last trip to Disney in May we stayed five nights in a one bedroom at VWL and then we switched over to the main lodge for the weekend in a regular room on the wing that is closest to the boat launch. They upgraded us to Courtyard view, but I happened to take a peak out a window on the other side of the hallway going back to our Courtyard view room and man oh, man, I saw a whole line of dumpsters and service vehicles on that side of the main lodge. I'll never say anything else about the VWL dumpster view again. The VWL dumpster view is just a teeny baby dumpster compared to what you could get at the main lodge. The only studio at VWL I think I would have a fit over again would be 4533 (the lockoff studio that has no balcony - it felt too closed in with no balcony). I definitely think they should charge less points for 4533 - I believe our member book shows either a patio or a balcony. They definitely need to compensate for that studio!

I also don't think the walk to the end rooms at VWL are as long as the Boardwalk hallways. I think the tennis court view at Boardwalk has got to be the longest hallway I've ever seen to get back to an elevator.
