We are very fortunate to get a two bedroom unit at VWL at the seven month period...at Presidents week no less!!
They only had two bedroom lock-offs, no dedicated. Is the only difference the two double beds in the 'studio' room? Does the studio room have a mini kitchen in the dedicated? Can I waitlist for a dedicated?

A lock off is actually a 1-BR and a studio. So, yes, the studio part will have a couch with a pull-out bed, a queen, and a mini-kitchen (small fridge and sink).

As for your other question, yes, you can waitlist a dedicated two bedroom. You'll lose your mini-kitchen, but you'll gain a second queen bed.

Congrats on getting your 2-BR!!! party:

We were able to switch to a 2BR from Saratoga Springs for that week as well. We were completely surprised! Good luck to you.

Curious as to what replaces the mini kitchen in the dedicated studio. The second bed would just replace the queen size sofa bed.

A studio by any other name would still have a mini kitchen. It has to be able to operate as a studio when not part of the lock-off.

Oops I guess what I meant to ask is what physically replaces the mini kitchen?... a closet of some sort or is it just more wall space?
