VWL dedicated 1br at 7 months

My DW and I would like to stay at VWL on one of our next trips. It would probibly be either the fall or early December of 2012. How hard is ti to get a dedicated 1br there at 7 months?

The fall date likely would be easier than attempting to get into, arguably, the most sought after resort during the Christmas season. That being said, I went on the waitlist for VWL in late April and wound up getting a 1BR a few months later, though it was a bit of an arduous process along the way (started with a split stay--SSR-VWL-SSR). Everyone has different experiences, of course. If you truly want to go during the Christmas season, I wouldn't hold my breath that a room will pop up at VWL. . .but who know?
