VWL and OKW

We recently bought at the BCV. We wanted an immediate trip so we booked 12 days. They could only give me 3 days at VWL and 9 days at OKW. The room is a studio for me and the DW. How are the accomodations? Last year we stayed at the Carribean Beach resort. I would appreciate any news that you can give.

While I can't speak knowledgeably about OKW (only heard how spacious it is), I can say that if you like peace and relaxation...VWL is awesome! It is a beautiful, quiet resort that makes you feel like you are a million miles from anywhere, yet in moments you can be on the boat to the MK, buses to the other parks.

The accomodations themselves are nice. We enjoy the studios there very much! The quiet pool is great! The on-site restaurants are good (whispering canyon has good food and fun) and the water "toys" are great fun to ride around on Bay Lake. The best part about VWL rooms IMHO is how QUIET they are. Been there in a studio three different times now and have never heard anyone next to, or above us. Can't say that about many hotels or resorts!

We have most of our points at OKW. It is a very relaxing place, yet only a bus or boat ride away from the action. You can take a nice boat ride over to Downtown Disney. If you have a car, you can park right outside your unit. OKW has two queensized beds in the studio and the largest bathroom you have ever seen. If you are only used to CBR, you will be amazed. You can watch the golfers from your balcony or patio. Take a bike ride around the resort. Or rent a boat. And don't forget a nice dinner, lunch or breakfast at Olivia's. You'll enjoy your stay at OKW.
