Odd - but it HAD to be done this way....
You see, We have a CONTRACT for the VWL. That CONTRACT has a property description, covering what we must pay for. The trouble with CONTRACTS? They may not be unilaterally changed. When that sort of thing is attempted? People sue.
Now - that does not stop one party from making an OFFER to alter a contract

Just a GUESS on my part (no facts).... given the expiration date of the original VWL contract? And all the GRIEF (and money) that would be involved? My prediction (GUESS) - WDW will wait. When the original VWL contracts expire? There will be a refurb, and combination. In doing this, I think WDW has been fairly wise - consider: what IS the end game for ANY DVC site expiring? WDW MAY be thinking about this.... it's getting closer.
