The incoming flight is badly delayed, that's why.... suggests there's been a bad delay the last couple of days, slowly catching up....

The incoming VS016 if memory serves me right is not always then the VS015 outbound, I think the VS015 has come in from somewhere else.

Even so if it looks like a few delays for some flights then it must have been caused by something over the past few days.

VA have really gone down hill over the last year or so.

Delayed flights now seem almost daily.

We had a five and a half hour delay going back in August (no email) and 2 hours on the way back.

None of the staff seemed to care - at one point the captain said to us "should be another 40 mins - we will be back in 45 mins once we have thought up our next excuse" !!!

Not impressed after many years travelling VA.

At least they took off even if it was delayed.

I think you will find that there maybe some former TCD customers on here who would have loved to have been delayed for a few hours because at least they would have got to their destination.

Some never even got a holiday!

The VS 15 is normally waiting for the VS44 from vegas to arrive in gatwick, thats the last flight in and the 15 is the last flight out. Also as its the last flight they tend to try and knock back any other flights delay to this one in the hope some of the time can be made up in the morning.

To be honest I think delays are nothing compared to a few years ago. I remember getting delayed every trip for atleast 5 hours when I was a kid for my first 4 trips to the world. One we was delayed 10 hours. Like John said atleast its not like the XL travel city direct customers getting stuck and some not being able to Holiday and Virgin probably had a lot of these customers to get back to England and to get out on holiday. A lot of the time they can be delayed because the incoming flight gets delayed due to the weather in Florida which isn't virgin's fault.

Today's VS015 is also delayed - I'm sat in the Virgin Clubhouse as I type awaiting its departure, which is now scheduled for 15.20.

But I don't care - I'm still nearly there!!!!!
