Voyage of the Little Mermaid: Yes or No

I thought it was horrible. DD didn't mind it but wasn't that impressed. I would not waste a FP+ on it but try it once just so you know if you all like it.

My sister and I liked it and would likely see it again.

The acting is pretty cheesy but the puppets were impressive and I liked the choreography during the Under the Sea bit.

In addition to the puppets Under the Sea, I like the laser effects that make you think you're underwater too.

I saw it in August last year. It is honestly just embarrassing.

Here's the blooper video another person mentioned earlier. :rotfl:

I don't think it's going to win any awards, but I think "just embarrassing" is harsh. It's entertaining enough to see once, it has somewhat cool effects and I just think any Little Mermaid enthusiast would enjoy it. As I said before, it's hardly a "must do" on every trip, but it's certainly worth seeing once, especially if you've already used one of your tickets to get into DHS, where there's just not much to do already.

We enjoy it and think it's worth seeing. I say go see it, especially if your sister is a Little Mermaid fan.

It's a must do for Little Mermaid fans. We love it, especially when the bubbles come down from the ceiling. The theater is cool and comfortable. The show is quick. There is no reason not to try it at least one time. No FastPass is necessary.

I'm a huge LM fan and I love the show. It's very fun and the puppets are very cute. I consider it a classic DHS attraction.

It's also very short, like, 10 minutes long or something like that, so if you end up not liking it you can get out quickly.

Very cute show for all ages. No its not high tech. Nice break from the heat of the day.

Thanks all! (and thanks for the blooper video) XD As long as we don't get too sucked into the Animation Academy (sister also loves to draw so I know she'll be in heaven there) we should have time for it and will definitely stop by. I realize it's an older show but it is hard to tell from the video which is why I asked. Hopefully she likes it :D

I grew up loving the Little Mermaid, so for me this ride was awesome, I was especially thrilled that they added the "kiss the girl" part!! The ride quickly skips through the outline of the movie, but hits key moments, centered around the films outstanding music. The "under the sea" area is bright, vibrant, and fun! It's a must for us!

I'm odd because I like it way better than the MK ride. It's older but that's not always a bad thing. I wouldn't use a FP+ for it though.

Is there a "ride" portion of this? I don't remember that at all. I remember a show with effects (water, etc.).....

No ride portion of the show. There's the Little Mermaid Show at DHS and the Little Mermaid Ride at MK - 2 separate things.

I love LM and I thought the show was good. It's short and it's a good place to sit down, rest, and cool off for a few minutes.

We enjoyed it - it was airconditioned, so in the summer - that gives it tons ofponts for me.

Go and make your own opinion - don't let others make yoru opinion for you

I am a big Little Mermaid Fan! I LOVE the ride. It is so cute and fun and has now become a must do every time I go to MK. You would not need a FP for the ride, as its popular but not crazy like other attractions. I say go for iy, you won't be disappoint, you may not be wowed but overall for anyone it is an enjoyable ride!
