Vow Renewals - What date to pick??

I was just wondering what dates people picked to renew their wedding vows?

I was thinking of on our actual 10th anniversary, but it falls at Spring Break/Easter time - so increased costs and busier in the parks!

We are planning our VR for our 20th anniversary in 7/2010. we are hoping to get our original wedding date- a weekday, just because its the time of year we usually go to Disney but any date in july will work if that date won't. Other dis VR brides are using dates different than their original wedding date. I think you can use any date that would work for you.... good luck with all your plans

We picked a date during our 10th year not our orig. wedding date 2 reasons the 1st is that our orig. date is also our dd's bday.. she was my 1 yr ann. present lol ... so we thought giving her the date ot her self would be cool and we will adapt ot the vow renewal date as our date for us to celabrate but not replacing entirley(sounds weird when i type it but it really does make sense in my head...lol) the second reason was noone we wanted to attend including our kids could go the 1st week of june.

We were originally planning an Escape VR on our actual anniversary, which would have been a thursday. Not that we switched to DCL, Thursday is an embarkation day, so we had to pick a different day. So we also decided to pick a cheaper time to go. So we are doing our 10th VR about 4 1/2 months before our 10th anniversary. Works for us.

we did ours the week before our anniversary...we had the cruise booked already and just took the date DCL gave us..it was on the 3day leg of our B2B so it was a little cheaper than the 4 day VR

We are doing our DCL vow renewal of 10 years May 16th, 09. This will be 2 weeks after our actual anniversary but this time in May was the only available date Cathy had and it was a little cheaper too!!
