I'm thinking FAR ahead here, but I figure the more I have to plan, the more time I have to save (and unfortunately to change my mind about things!
)
DH and I retire in seven years, and we will be moving to FL upon retirement. Retirement for us will mean NO MORE WORKING!! (Unless we get bored, AND want some part-time temporary job).

Anyway, I'm thinking this would be the perfect time to have a vow renewal. Not only to celebrate our marriage (though it would be a odd year, 12) , but it will have a special meaning to us, as will literally be starting a new phase in our life. What better way to celebrate retirement, a happy marriage, and new beginnings?
I'm curious though .when people have vow reveals, do they typically get married on the same date as their original wedding? We got married in May (at Shades of Green, WDW), but I'm thinking of our vow renewal to be in December. I'm also trying to decide if we want to get re-married at SoG or somewhere else on Disney World. One of the BIG pluses at the gazebo at SoG, is it's easier to set the date, and you can actually pick a time too, instead of a Disney pre-determined time. For instance, we had a sunrise wedding (5:40 am!
) and we were allowed to decorate the gazebo the night before our wedding. Im picturing an evening wedding with the gazebo decked out in mini twinkle lights (they will let you attach lights, as long as you don't use nails or something that will hurt the wood, we'd use zip ties), greenery, red bows, and faux candles on the railing. But on the negative side, you are not eligible for the extras that they offer "official" Disney Brides such as carriage rides, photography packets in the MK, etc.
I got a LOT of thinking to do!! What would you do, if you could either 1. Have the wedding, exactly how you'd like it, time, decorations, etc., but no "Disney-Wedding" extras, or 2. A "Disney" wedding, but have restrictions as to what hours, and things like that, but have all the little extras available?
Decisions, decisions!!
