Hey everyone so this is kinda gonna be a long post but I just wanted to get some opinions and some understanding. My husband and I were married in Aug of 08 and my wedding was really great. It just was not my wedding my mother picked everything from my dress to where i got married what we ate and I agreed to have it at our home so my parents could put the money into the house which never happened. And at the end I found out that they had cashed out my college fund and I had basically paid for my own wedding with that and bonds. I feel as if I was robbed of my day. My husband has always wanted to give me that wedding that I wanted and agreed that we could do a vow renewal. His parents health is not the best and I want them to be there we thought about doing a vow renewal in 2013 or 2014 For our 5 or 6 year. I wanted to get everyone's opinion. I would have done it next year but we are currently expecting our first child together my second. The other reason is I was diagnosed in Jan with diabetes and nearly died in May of this year and we have had a lot of other personal things with family and work going on and I feel it is just the right time to reaffirm our commitment to each other. So with all of this being said where do I even start. I know that I would like to have the horse and carriage possibly and also a desert party. If anyone could help that would be great Thanks

Aw im so sorry to hear you did not get the day you wanted - if is what you want and it feels right I think you should go for it :cheer2:

Disney DFTWs treat VRs and Weddings the same as far as I can tell in relasion to pricing - the main impact on the price is how many people will be there. Memories weddings are for a couple and 4 guests and are around $1991Escape weddings are under 20 people and are between $4750 and $5800. Wishes weddings have a set minimum spend of $10,000 to $15,000 depending on time of ceremony and day of week. The memories collection may be finished by 2013 though :confused3. Memories and Escape weddings are packages - wishes is like a build your own style.

The Disney official website gives the location, prices and package info - http://disneyweddings.disney.go.com/

Cinderella’s Glass Coach is $2,850
and Dessert partys vary on the amount of guests you will have.

hope I have helped a little - its all very confusing - but the passporter wedding book is a great help.

The passporter book is a great place to start! You could also do lots of your research right here on the Dis forums, they are loaded with info.
