Is this the right place to get info on vow renewals as well? DH and I had a "plain" wedding as we were on a tight budget after having our baby. We've agreed that we wanted to do something a little more fancy and special for our anniversary in two years (5 year anniversary). I've almost got him talked into the Disney thing...I just need to see more ideas of what others have done and what they've spent. I'm going to be 27 this year so I'm kind of stuck between making it very fun (as our two boys will be there and will be 6 and 4 at the time and I never really had "party time") and making it nicer. I'm sure we probably will not do something like this every 5 years so I need to get it right this time! :goodvibes

Thanks so much to anyone who's got any tips or advice.

My hubby and I have a DCL Vow Renewal booked for May 2009. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

I'm happy to help if I can!

Congrats!!

welcome there is alot of great info here regarding planning etc. Take a look at the disney wedding website too, there is info about different venues etc. good luck with your plans...:goodvibes

Hi! :wave2

Disney treats weddings and vow renewals interchangeably, so when you look around the Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings site, you can do anything there they show for weddings. :thumbsup2

Thanks! I've been frequenting the disney wedding site :rolleyes1 I've almost got him sold on the idea. Just need to come up with the plan to save some money to do it.

Can I email or ask for more info to get a better idea of what we're thinking will work with what they offer?

Also, I requested and got the little booklet they send out- I haven't watched the dvd yet. The prices listed on the little insert-is that the minumum you have to spend? How realistic are those prices-do you have to get just about everything they offer to hit that or is that the very basic wedding? If it includes just about everything-food/beverages, entertainment, flowers, pictures I'd be fine. I just would hate to find out that the prices listed (like $15000, $20000 or $25000) are for the very basics.

I also see that you have to reserve a certainly number of nights as well. Is that just for usor is that for everyone coming to the renewal? Does everyone need to stay at the same resort or can we do like AKL and Pop?

Sorry for all of the questions! Can't wait to check this out more!:yay:

i can't really help with a WDW VR, but we had one on DCL in July...best money I spent for a vacation!!
