Hi, okay, I know there is the official website for weddings, vow renewal and committment ceremonies. But.....DH and I will be married 25 years in Feb/09. We have a trip planned with our college age kids and DD's BF in mid January.

We want to renew our vows in Disney, but in a very small setting. Just the five of us, with our daughter the maid of honor and our son the best man. We don't really want the basic package - even that is too much "stuff". We really just want to do something where we do the renewal service, with flowers, and strange as it may sound ;) The mad hatter dessert party with champagne and cake. Do any of you know if there is a way to do this without the wedding planning minimum package? TIA

If you plan to do it on WDW property, you will need to go through a WDW package, or they might kick you off if they catch you! I've read that they are VERY strict about that sorta thing.

If you are not including an officiant and want to just do an informal family vow renewal in your resort room, I bet you could get away with it if you are discrete.

Have you considered Swan/Dolphin packages? We are currently looking into that & weighing our options & it's MUCH cheaper & still lovely, simpler, & on WDW property.

You could likely get the cake through BW Bakery.

HTH!!
