Hey everyone! My DH and I are coming up on our 10 year anniversary (we actually honeymooned in WDW) and were thinking of renewing our vows when we go back to celebrate our anniversary this year. Has anyone renewed their vows at Disney? If so, was it worth the price? What comes with the ceremony? Any advice? Thank you!!!

I am listening in for the same answers! We also honeymooned and celebrated our 1st anniversary in WDW. Our 10 year isn't until Sept 2017, but I thought I'd start looking into it now. :)

Good luck and congrats on 10 years!

I did for my 10th anniversary. Though it was in 2005 so a lot of my experiences are different because things have changed. We did a Wishes event even though we only had 8 guests. Mins were much lower as I was grandfathered under a 7500 min. So lots of things are much different now. But it was well worth it to us. We had gotten married very young & couldn't do the wedding we wanted. So for us a Wishes event was our dream wedding. I keep looking into a Memories vr for our 20th next year but I'm not sure I can swing it. The other one was once in a lifetime I think! :lovestruc
I did want to ask what you meant about what comes with the ceremony? The officiant you chose usually has standard vr ceremonies to go over with you. Or you can write your own. I wrote my own (or rather cobbled 2 together from the Internet).

Sounds like you had a great experience! Thanks for sharing!

Following...
Was thinking of possibly doing one, very small most likely me, DH, and DS's (2 of them). We are going in April this year and cruising again next so I would love to hear what you all say. Will be 17 years this March and of course 18 next.

We are doing one in a few weeks!!!!' :)

We are doing the Memories package which is just myself, hubby, and two boys!

The packages and whats included vary from collection, memories, escape and wishes. What kind of VR are you thinking? Lots of people, or just private with the two of you?
Hubby and I are celebrating 10 years this summer, and are planning a small, private VR in Disney! Congrats on your upcoming plans!

We renewed our vows at the Swan/Dolphin in 2011.
To us, it was worth every penny we spent on our day.
A link to my PJ/TR is in my signature
Feel free to ask any questions - I would be honoured to help.
Happy planning!!!!

If you could give an opinion after it please do! My wife and I are planning one for our 20th and I would love to hear what you thought.

Sure!
I'm beyond excited! It is our 20th as well!

Just had our VR yesterday. It was fantastic!
We used the memories package. Luau Beach was beautiful. Our photographer was fantastic. It was well worth the money we spent to be able to reconnect and I fell in love with my husband all over again. We did add an extra hour of photography and I am glad we did - the time flee by.
Let me know if there are any other questions I can answer.

Yay! So glad to hear! Ugh - stressing over pictures, but we have a toddler so I know he won't last two hours of photos!!!! :(
Glad to hear you had a wonderful day! We are doing our VR at same place!

Did the construction interrupt anything?

Our 7 month old cried most of the time. That was my fault because I did not feed him before and he refused a bottle. We did pay for a sitter from Kids Nite Out to watch our son during the ceremony and during pictures he was not in. I would recommend doing that as she was helpful.

I did not notice any construction noise at all. I don't remember if we could see the construction. Honestly, I was concentrating on my husband the whole time, so I blocked everything else out! I know they have said there would be construction in the lobby of the Polynesian - including the fountain. To my surprise, it was not when I was there!

I will try to post some pictures soon.

We did arrange kids nite out person to come to watch our toddler at the vow renewal! :) hopefully, she will save him from running into the lake or something horrific! Lol!
Then, we have a lunch planned just for the two of us after we get them settled in the room!
Can't wait to see your pictures!

Although toddler in the lake would make for some great pictures :)
