Vote!

Great post Mal
Remember a vote for Grumpy is.....well its a vote for Grumpy!!

All kidding aside please get out and vote. It is a small price to pay for freedom!!

Nice I get no school because of voting woot

I'm can't vote as I am not a US Citzen.. It's not like I can get to a Polling station anyway!! :lmao:

Good luck with the voting people. :)

I'm only 16 so I can't, but I was actually just giving my mom a speech about needing to get down to the polls when I happend upon this poll. She's a procrastinator

:guilty: I can't vote, because I was in college in another state during the presidential elections, and I forgot to register in my home state for this year's elections, and I really wanted to vote, too. I'm tired of all the mudslinging.

I wasn't able to vote today. No ride to get there. I'm not entirely upset though. I know it'll be a landslide victory for the man I want in office. The other guy is a football player who has publicly said things like "I don't care" and "That's not my problem". Everyone hates him and I have no doubts he'll lose even without my vote for the other guy.

But yeah...everyone make sure to get your voice heard. :thumbsup2

A football player, and you live in PA. Hmmm... is it Ben Roethlisberger?

Sorry, I'm in a dumb mood right now...

LOL no, actually it's this guy named Lynn Swann. (sounds like a woman's name to me *giggles*)

I don't know how it is where you are but here at least you should be able to go to the voting site and bring your id or an utility bill with your address and you can register right there. I know that is how it is here at least. :confused3

You can do that in Minnesota? Here in Pennsylvania there is nothing of the sort. The most they have are vans picking people up and driving them to the polls in case they can't get there themselves. I wish we could vote online. I definetely be doing that.

I was at the voting center yesterday...but because I am a few days short of being 18 and registered, I got to just observe. (Went to the polls for none other than my Gov't class).

As I read about the results for our state, I think it is safe to say that I am pretty happy about our outcome!

Wow never knew how different things could be for voting lol. Yeah here (at least in the part of MN I am in) you have a polling place usually in a church or school near where you live (mine is less than a mile away) and you go in and register or go pick up your ballot if already registered. We have the fill in the dot type ballots, which of course remind me of the tests from school lol.

I have to say I really like how our voting style is done. We get our ballot sent to us in the mail. Includes the book about the different measures - what they mean, and if you vote yes.. this is what it means, if you vote no that is what it means. We fill it out. put it in the 2 envolopes it comes with. Sign the outside (won't count if not signed) stamp it. Send it in. Or if you don't want to stamp it.. there are boxes around the town's/cities for people to put them in. Very nice... relaxing... and you can take your time. No crowd's. :)
