Please, please vote no. Let's stop the insanity.

I hope they're all "no". :thumbsup2 Aren't there bigger things in the world for the government to spend their time on than working to prevent same-sex couples from marrying??
ARKANSAS: Anti-gay constitutional amendment would bar unmarried couples from fostering or adopting children.
Because making sure unmarried couples don't step up to love and care for abused and neglected children is certainly the more important issue. Is there a waiting list for ADULTS in Arkansas wanting to foster and adopt these kids that they can add ridiculous restrictions like this? I'm guessing not. Unbelievable.

Just an FYI, I am a white, pretty conservative, anti-tax & spend guy trying to keep the government from stealing all of my money while trying to put my 2 kids through college.

Now, with all of that background, I am happy to report that I voted NO on Florida's Amendment 2.

The ideal conservative government I dream of does not stick it's nose in people's bedrooms.

As long as there are no innapropriate behavior with children or farm animals, the makeup of people's family units & the rights thereof should not anyone's freakin business.

ESPECIALLY the governments!!!!!!

Voting no means rights for everyone correct?

I think I read this wrong...
Vote No on 2 Anti-gay constitutional amendment would write marriage discrimination into the state constitution
this looks like voting no will write the discrimination...

or is it my fuzzy head getting it all confused?

Mikeeee

I'll be voting NO on Question 1 in Connecticut tomorrow. :thumbsup2

I don't live in any of the states, but I have a general question. Are these things written confusing on purpose? I can't, in my feeble little mind, determine if I would be voting for or against gay marriage?

I voted no on Prop 8. :thumbsup2

We've been having problems with people illegally posting hundreds of Yes on 8 signs on state property, along freeways, etc. in my area. A police officer neighbor said he's had to pick up and toss tons of them. Such a waste of resources, and his time.

Thank you! I have been begging people to vote no on 2 here in Florida. If you really want to save the institution of marriage, stop people from being able to get married 4 or more times. That makes a joke out of marriage, not same sex marriages.

I think they are. But most of the amendments are written that way.

Already voted NO in Florida! :)

I think Florida is one of the few sad states (and I love my state) which does not allow gay couples to adopt, if my memory is correct.

No on 8 here!

My suggestion is that for those who oppose gay marriage - don't do it, kay?
