15 sleeps to go, and I just placed my $50 Vons order (and got free delivery), to be delivered the night we arrive... bought beer and premixed pina colada to get to $50!

So excited, but wrapping up all the little things...

I've never ordered from Vons. How does it work? I can order it online and have it delievered to any hotel? If this is true how WONDERFUL!!!!!

Anyhow, I did Safeway once or twice where we used to live, and then got the idea to do it for snacks and water on here--others have used it a bit, and I took the recommendation! So keep your fingers crossed that it works just as well for us as it has for others!

Is it free delivery because you spent $50?
I always rent a car, so don't get delivery since Vons is less than 1/4 mile away in either direction. But it is good to have if no car rental

I plugged in the address for the Disneyland Hotel (where we are staying) and it figures out which store... worked well, and since I signed up and filled my shopping cart about a month ago, they have been sending me reminder emails and then I got a free delivery email... so woohoo!

I had heard that they give free delivery on your first order w/o a real minimum....we have their club card and shop there regularly but have never used delivery.... does anyone know if there is a way around the minimum?
