Hi!

I'm getting SOOOO confused and would appreciate some guidance from anyone who has btdt. This will be my first trip to WDW with a toddler in tow and I can't decide if I should take our Pliko or if a Volvo would be better? I have a 3 yo and I was thinking of getting a Volvo for the trip since it's not as cumbersome as the Pliko, but now I'm not sure what to do!!!

I would sincerely appreciate any advice on this subject. If I'm going with a Volvo, I've got to get on the stick and get one ordered as we leave in tweleve days!

Thanks!!

I have a Pliko but am looking for something bigger. The Pliko storage basket is small and there is no child or parent tray. I know Im going to need both. I don't know what the Volvo is like though. My local consignmetn shop usually has lots of strollers, this week they had 2. I may have to rent one but I think it's too late for that. Good luck in deciding!

I took something very like the Volo when my DD was 3.5 and 4.5 and I thought it was perfect. There are no cupholders or parent trays, but I didn't find that a big deal. It was a basket underneath which is big enough to hold a small cooler containing some drinks and snacks and also another small bag - we then added a mesh bag to the back and stored things in there.

My stroller didn't have a canopy/hood, which is an optional extra on the Volo - we just used a white parasol which clips on to the stroller and that worked fine.

if the child was younger then I would recommend the Pliko but for a 3 year old then I think the volo is perfect.

I have a volo and that is what I am taking to WDW for my 2 year old next month. It is great because it is so light and has the shoulder strap for when you have to carry it on trams or buses.

Can you please tell me what these are...I am travelling in Feb with a 20mo and would like some tips to make it easier on us...

Thanks

sperk99-the Volo is a very lightweight stroller by MacLaren. Although it is rated from 6 months up my 20 month old HATES using an umbrella stroller.

I have a Peg Perego Pliko P3 and a MacLaren umbrella stroller simular to a Volo. I took the Maclaren to WDW when my oldest was 3 1/2 year old and it was perfect. I recently purchased the Pliko because my DD who is 20 months didnt like the umbrella style. She much prefers to be sitting straight up and likes the snack try and the harness of the Pliko which allows her to move around. I like that the Pliko stands when folded. For our trip in Oct I will be bringing the Pliko for the 21 month old and renting as needed for the 3 1/2 year old and 5 year old. I like that the Pliko has the running board.

When I purchased the Maclaren the only other single stroller I had was a huge travel system one. The Maclaren was well worth the price for me. Only you can decide if you'll get enough use out of the Volo to warrent its purchase. I would say your Pliko would work OK for you but the Volo is a very nice stroller.
