Volvano Bay seating?

So my family and I will be heading to Volcano Bay August 15, 2017 and I called to get pricing on the cabanas and reserved seating. These prices are utterly ridiculous! Because of the season we are going, a 6 person cabana is starting at $500.00 and premium seating is starting at $65 (2 gels loungers w/ umbrella, a locker in-between the loungers, and an attendant). My question is (I know it's still early) how hard is it to find regular seating with umbrellas? If we do reserve the premium seating can we drag some of the regular chairs next to the premium seating? We are a family of 6 and would really like to keep our cost down and not have to pay for 3 premium seats. Any advice or help will be appreciated, thanks!

I just watched a full walkthrough of the park on You Tube. There are no umbrellas anywhere, just lounge chairs out in the open. If you want shade, you have to pay for it or find some under a tree.

Based on all the videos there is no umbrellas in the regular seating areas.

This is disappointing. Many people have issues with the sun due to medications, age, etc. that sunscreen alone won't help. To charge that much for some protection from the sun is disgusting. We're going in September and I scrimped and saved to afford this trip. $65 for an umbrella is despicable.

Here now. There are umbrellas for regular seating. Not a lot though. If you can get here at park opening or EE, you should be able to get an umbrella but maybe not in the area you want. I have seen people come in before lunch and get a couple of chairs not loungers under the umbrella next to us. We have 1 pair of premium loungers. The other loungers near me are in the sun right now without an umbrella just the awning.

The loungers are in with the chairs. You could possibly get 1 pair and then snag chairs next to you if you get there early. August may be different than opening weekend though. May be less crowded.

I'd need one due to the fact that with my medication you're technically not supposed to be in the direct sun for long periods of time. Also, it would be more relaxing and more convenient to have that lockbox that goes with it as well, so I do not have to purchase a locker too. I'm going in the fall, so I hope by then it's a little less. As the pricing is based off of availability and typically fall is non-peak season, so fingers crossed!
