Hi everyone!
I posted another thread about this back in April (I think), however the time is almost here. My fiance and I are working on our honours thesis on Destination Weddings: Disney World (we are Tourism Administration students in our 4th year). While we may not be able to do research until Dec-Jan, we do need to get a preliminary understanding of how many couples are willing to participate. Unfortunately, due to research restrictions, you must live in Canada or the U.S.A., however we can not accept Florida residents (only to assure that your wedding can be considered 'destination'). If you express interest here you are not bound to participate, we will simply PM you when research is about to begin and confirm your participation. You will be mailed or e-mailed (depending on your preference) a survey to fill out along with a consent form that may be mailed or faxed back. If you choose for us to mail the survey you will be provided with a self address, stamped envelope for easy return. We may need to conduct a trial survey with only a few participants, however, if this goes well we will include it in the final study. Once it is complete, we will gladly e-mail you a copy of our thesis if you wish (it will be 100 pages in length).
Couples who are currently planning their Disney wedding or who have recently had one are both welcome! The survey should not be too long or take up too much time.
