Volcano Bay Soft Opening??

Good morning,

We are headed to Universal from May 5 - May 13th. We are staying at Hard Rock the entire time and doing some day trips to Sea World and Discovery Cove. My kids are freaking out about how cool Volcano Bay looks. The official open date is May 25th. What are the chances there are some soft openings when we are there? How do you suggest we find out? Should we ask at the hotel? At the parks? It would be super cool if we got a sneak peek. I'm not banking on it but, if I can increase my chances, why not!

There are rumours out there about how difficult it is going to be for them to meet that opening date. I wouldn't count on soft openings.

I doubt it will be open then unfortunately. They wouldn't even let us get a sneak peek at Toothsome, we were there in August and it was opening in two weeks. There were some people inside, obviously knew the owner or something. We asked if we could check it out and they said no.
So if they just said no to Toothsome can't imagine they'd give a sneak peek to a huge water park! Sorry!
