Volcano Bay in winter

We will be going to Orlando 12/30 to 1/7. Is it going to be warm enough to do Volcano Bay? Do they heat the water?

VB is closed on cold days. On warm days, it is still much less crowded than summer. I went in Feb during 80s weather and every ride remained a walk on (minor waits but no tapping in), and we left around 2-3pm right before it started downpouring. The water is heated. I would absolutely do VB again on a warm winter day.

We've done the Disney water parks on warm days in January-March. Yep- as @CAPSLOCK says, no crowds! Orlando weather, like anywhere, can be unpredictable. We were at Universal the end of February this year, and it was 85 and sunny! I'd have gone to VB, but we rented a cabana at HRH. We had a better pool day then than we did on our trip last week!

Yep, water is heated. Went on December 30 last year, and it was 62 to start the day. Loved it though, no lines, and while cold when got out, didn't stop us. There were others, and got more people around lunchtime. We used the hotel's early entry, and stayed until lunchtime.

Weather can vary in winter - I have been when it is warm, and been when it is quite cold. No way to predict at this time. I too was there in late Feb this year and it was great. Have been in Dec when I needed gloves it was so cold.

Yes, the water is heated - as noted above. And, they close on cold days. But, you need to factor in the wind. Yes, it might be heated and it might be a a decent(ish) day temperature wise, but wind can be very unpleasant when you are wet. Try to pick a calm day and then it's wonderfully quiet and enjoyable at VB.
