actually I heard Hula say a few days ago (or maybe a week) that she was told to remove all leaders from her list for the new years event. I meant to mention it here but forgot about it.

I didn't get any magic either, but I was cheering up a friend so I didn't mind.

sounds like an interesting and fun night- glad to hear so many got visits...

I went on shortly when the event first started and then went out to ring in the new year with my family out doors with a large, slightly illegal but well contained bonfire in our back yard- even the baby stayed up and rang in the new year with us- by the time new year's passed I went to try to get onto vmk and forgot that the way my husband has the internet router set up only my computer and his have 24 hour internet access (yes we limit the time my kids can be on at night and at midnight the magic ends) well since my computer caught fire on my lap the other day- I've been using the kid's computer and I couldn't get on to the game... sigh

But it sounds like everyone had lots of fun

I kept reading that people got other things besides magic last night so I checked my inventory closely because it looked a bit off and noticed new tikis and a Herbie couch that weren't there before. Woot!
