VMK- what's the deal????

ok so here's what im thinkin', so VMK say no pay to play right? well look at pirates! they are doing exactly what they are telling us not to do!!!!!!!! OMG why should we pay to play pirates when VMK staff get nothing from OUR credits??? and if we join a team and get booted, make a team and get dc, or join a team and the "captain" gets dc WE DONT GET OUR CREDITS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! we should band together and fight this!!!!!!!!! i thin k we should get a whole lot of people and use the "contact us" page and tell VMK staff what we think. pirates is just about the only game on VMK that most people play, it just isnt fair!!!!!!

For real I pay money to join a game then some idiot boots me lol. But gosh you should at least get your money back even if it's a few credits. I mean it's not like they are making us pay 1000 credits that would be ridiculous but really I sort of agree with you if they don't want us to pay to play why are they still making us pay to play?! I mean really why?

the difference is vmk wont scam you. Players will.

They used to permit this but from players complaints they changed their position on the matter.

Here's what the Community Reminder section of the VMK Newsletter says about pay to play:

3. Pay to Play is not allowed in VMK.

Any room where you pay to play a game and it's up to the room owner to award the prize is against VMK Values and not allowed in VMK. Opening a Pay to Play room is a violation of the VMK game guidelines and will get you banned from VMK.

VMK will continue to charge for some public rooms (like Pirates), as Pay to Play scams are a larger problem for personal rooms.

For short, VMK won't take out to pay to play in Pirates. They can't scam you that way, but personal rooms can. (like Aengus said)

yea... but still it is still not fair, i mean if u get booted from a game, u should at least get your credits back!

When you get booted or leave a game before It starting, you DO get your credits refunded. The only time you don't get refunded is when you disconnect during the game

I do agree but I don't leave a game or get booted. I play even if I loose or win. I still get Credits
