VMK Question

Hi
I was hoping someone here could help me. My son is playing VMK and he has a friend at school on there too. They wanted to meet up but when the go to the same place they can't see each other. How can they add each other to their friends list? Any help would be appreciated. He is new to the game and I really don't understand much about it. Thank you

Your son simply needs to click on his friend's character and on the imformation box that pops up, there is a button that says something like "add to friends". His friend will need to except his friend request by clicking on the blinking mail icon at the bottom of the screen.

I no longer play VMK, but that is how you did it when I played. Please correct me if I am wrong.

There is a board here dedicated strictly to VMK

As for your question, there is a box on the bottom right hand corner when they enter the game that should read "advanced mode". Each of them should click the box. Then, when they go to choose a place on the map to enter, they can further choose which "instance". For example, they will have the option to choose, "west-west-north" or "south-west-west"...that sort of thing.

Another option is for one of them to enter their own guest room. They will have to make sure the room is open to everyone by clicking the "i" on the far left hand said of the screen at the bottom. When they are in their room, it should automatically be set to everyone .

Once there, the other friend can click on "Guest Rooms" and then do a search for the name of the other's character, or the name of the room the other is in.

If that is too complicated, let me know lol. I am not sure how understandable to wrote that haha.
