I'm conflicted about the car/truck thing. On one hand it was time saving for you and as far as quality of the recording etc.. was not that big a difference from the prior pod-casts I have heard.

The one thing that I did notice was that there were times where you sounded distracted, and I hope you were considering you were on the highway with other vehicles!

Seriously though, your voice seemed to have that thing where you are telling a story so to speak but them something gets your attention and your tone changes like your mind is somewhere else, and then you come back on point. Also I don't know what your commute is like so whether or not it is dangerous, that is your call.

I will go back and listen to it another time or two and see if I notice the distraction thing as much as I think I did, or if my mind is playing tricks on me because I know you are driving.

good info tho, so maybe every show isnt from the mighty mighty truck but some should be. Get that story feeling happening. I have an arch enemy I drive in to work against I come across her quite often on the highway when I drive to work... and that day I WON! Her white SUV is no match for the mighty mighty truck!

BUT KIDS THIS IS IMPORTANT! I am a professional green car driver you should not try this at home!

Oh! Maybe, instead of the automo truck, when you do to DLR or WDW, do a ride through of a slow ride, and while riding it, do teh podcast! Better than backround music!

awesome idea but... alas LOL as you know. not quite so simple for me and my cursed issues with this! I will be going back to WDW in August and with some prayers and pixie dust I hope I can do something like this

Can I ask for more opinions about this?

I have received a few emails that say they actually liked it this way, and I was curious what more of you thought?

I wont say names unless they want to come forward, but I had comments such as, they felt like they were in the passenger seat and I was really just talking away about vmk to them.

I was curious if more people feel like that, and like cap just said. Or should I just take some time out and get myself to my quiet place ROFL

oh and I got quite a few compliments for Becky, sorry Becky I shoudl have passed that along sooner

Or perhaps Aengus's Lava-Mobile... or maybe even CapElDano's Fantasy Pirate Mobile? ROFL... just kidding on that last one. Also Aengus did you get my message, if so will you use it in the show or is it just too obvious a tip to be acknowledged? LOL.

P.S. Rt 128= Highway to (insert non-VMK appropriate word here) All those crazy Massachusetts/Boston drivers don't make it much easier either... Muahaha...

Only one drawback that I can see to that. Wouldn't the music be too overwhelmingly loud? Aengus would basically have to scream to be heard.

I would cheat I would record the background there, and then record the show elsewhere. mix it in like I do the background in the show.

OMG, speaking of Aengus' Lava Mobile, guess what I found on blueazon:

OOOOH I also found the recipie for lava cake!

8 oz. Semisweet Chocolate Chips

6 oz. Butter

1 Cup Sugar

¼ Cup Cornstarch

4 Large eggs

4 Egg yolks

non-stick spray


Preparation


Preheat oven to 375.


Place a small metal bowl over a saucepan with simmering water. Melt the chocolate and butter in the bowl.


In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, and cornstarch. Sift these into the chocolate and mix well with mixer. Add eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each egg before adding the next. Beat at high until batter is creamy and lightens in color. Chill mixture.

Coat individual soufflé cups with pan spray well. Fill cups 3/4 full with batter. Bake 10 or 11 minutes. Outsides should be cake like and centers should be gooey.



Garnish as desired with ice cream, raspberry or caramel sauce, or fresh fruit.
