For a FREE game it sure is costing a lot of money. At this point in time I think I would rather pay $20 a month and absolutely nothing else to have to buy.
Lets see, trips to the park, movies to buy, pins to buy, trips through Disney for stitch --- yeah right, it's a FREE game alright.
I love you guys here on DIS but I'm becoming more and more disenchanted with VMK all the time.

spend money with Disney. Considering that I will continue to spend money
with Disney now and in the immediate future, I am actually happy we don't
have a pay monthly for this game.
Do I take trips? Sure. I bought DVC due to the frequency of trips I had
been taking.
Do I buy their films? Yes. I have a nice collection of Disney
movies. (My favorites are the tins with the Disney Treasures. I hope new
releases will count towards this movie points system!)
Do I buy pins?
Yes! You don't want to know how many Disney pins I own. You can be
sure I'll buy the new mystery pin series!
The game is geared to make you spend with Disney. Why would anyone think
otherwise?

I couldn't agree more Iris! I'm a huge DVD fan (I own close to 500 I think?)!! It's too bad I can't get points for already purchased DVDs, I have like 30 of those! Heh. Ah well... VMK's doing it's job... I was trying to decide if I wanted to double-dip for the Little Mermaid (I already own one the "Limited Issue" version on DVD)... I guess now I will. I'm such a sucker... fished right in. LOLIris said:Thanks for the heads up. We purchase Disney Movies anyway in our household. My youngest is a HUGE Cars fan so I know that is on our list. I am a HUGE Pirates fan so there is another. I filled out the survey so there is another 100 points. Right there is 300 points with another 400 to go. I am sure that they will continue to add eligible movies to the list. So if you purchase them anyway, it will not hurt to join the club. You never know.

So after signing up (I just used my existing VMK account info and I got right in) I took the questionaire and when I get the DVD... that'll be 200 points. I was going to get Pirates 2, Cars, and the new Narnia, so I'll have 550 points. There's a new Robin Hood? Hmm... Didn't know about that, will have to check it out. I get that and there's another 100... Hmm... Still 50 short by December.
I sure hope they come out with more ways to earn points and/or keep the VMK prize around for a long time!![]()

If your account has your email address as the username then that account may not be able to login to the program at all. The workaround is to create a new account for the Rewards programs.
I tried to point out all the problems with the recommended solution but the lady stuck to her guns. "I understand, just create a new account sir." I'm probably one of those people that phone support operators hate to talk to.![]()
