VMK Movie Theater stuff!

This is a really cool thing. Its nice to get little extras. I cant believe people like cat_herder are complaining about it. VMK is a FREE game. You dont have to have anything. If you dont want the dvd's, dont buy them. If you do buy them, then hey, you might get a nice extra.

Some people have such a sense of entitlement its just insane.

yea.. geez no need to throw around blames and flames.. I am personally very happy about this.. they will be quite rare, but you don't need to go to a park to get them.. this is a step in the right direction for vmk.. Plus we've been waiting for items like this for a while so it's good to see vmk listens to our ideas

FYI,

Don't buy multiple copies of any one movie to get the points. You can only redeem one code per release per account. What I mean is, if you buy two copies of the Little Mermaid and you get two seperate codes. The system will only let you reddeem one of them. It will reject the second one, telling you that you have already redeemed a Little Mermaid code.

This is frustrating. I am trying to log-in as well and get the standard "this promotion is only open to those in the US". I wonder when Florida stopped being part of the US? Oops! I guess WDW is no longer considered as being in the US since it is only a short distance from me.

I'm getting a weird bug now.

I already logged in earlier this week and did the survery.

But now when I log in it takes me to the "Update Your Info" screen, with everything filled out correctly, but the only option is to click "Update", and it loops back to the same screen. So I'm "logged in" but NOT??

So I've got my Little Mermaid code and can't enter it.

She was just trying to explain why the game is set up the way it is, that it is intended to drive sales for Disney. Disney's whole goal is to make money (and as a (small) stockholder, I salute their fine job if it ).

I know why the game is set up the way it is, from the first day I have known that. I'm just out of money to be buying tons of stuff I don't need to play this game. Like I say, I'm very happy for her that she can do that. What is so hard to understand about that?

I got my DVD and target and it came with a free lip gloss bracelet that fits me . The code still works so you can get it anywhere.

I'm sure most of you know this, but I recommend buying your Little Mermaid DVD at Wal-Mart. It lists for $19.99 plus or minus. Wal-Mart had it for $14.97 (I don't know what their thing is with two cents, but hey!). They also had a special packaging of it with the CD of the songs for $19.97, which is what I got. She has a beautiful voice, and if I have to listen to HSM one more time...

Best Buy had it at full list of $19.99. Their advertising stated that you get a free plush toy with it, but my Best Buy was only sent 24 of the plush toys. Yes, that is two tens plus four! They were gone in the first 10 minutes it being sold, according to the manager I spoke with.

I think Amazon is also selling it for around $15, but be careful with shipping costs. If you order totals $25 or more, Amazon ships free.

One person kept telling everyone to buy seven copies of The Little Mermaid. Do Not Do This, you'll just be wasting your money. You cannot enter more than one code from the same movie, even if the code is different. The site says so and I tried it myself (one code from a friend, one was my own), it will not work.
