There is usually a event planned for once a month but there may be more than once but rarely ever will be unless something special is happening or coming to the real parks or in VMK.

The reasons are listed on the VMK Home Page, so I think the warning not to post iabout this is unfounded. According to the Home Page, safety of the players is of utmost concern, so the game is only open when they have sufficient staff to monitor the players and make sure everyone's behavior is appropriate and within the VMK values.

Tolkien, i would like to explain why you can't ask that on a discussion board, but It's a secret. Let's just say that anyone who happened to send in a letter via the VMK contact page on Dec 1st will know why.
