VMK cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full today???

I know everyone had frustration with the quest today! VMK said there were 7000 players online and was full when I tried to get in. Then, the whole game must have crashed. Eventually I got in (about 45 min. of trying). I was happy that the quest ran long b/c I was able to complete it for me and 2 others.

OK...I really like the quest prizes but I was hoping for tiki, since I missed the tiki stuff due to the ban saga....LOL!

Then, I made an extra trip back to the coffee shop, where I can get access until the "IP ban lift", to play Hula's game. After 20 min. of it not showing up on the search, I checked the DIS and saw that Lily and Hula had switched!.....I wasn't thrilled, but I got in line for football anyway....#418, or something.......2 hours later at exactly 7:00pm, when the coffee shop closes, I got in. We all spun and the teams tied, so Lily gave us all the rocker!!!

So despite the VMK roller coaster today I choose to see the cup as 1/2 full...at the very least!

It's pretty foolhardy to post with your VMK name and discuss how you are getting around the IP ban. Yavn and other VMK staff members do read these boards. I happen to think banned users should just wait out their ban time, but if you are going to try to get around it, by all means, don't brag about it here. And if you are going to brag about it, don't use your VMK name in the post, the avatar or the signature.

A tip that a lot of people on the board use: instead of Searching for "Hula" or for "Lily" search for Host...then you will get whatever room is owned by a host (plus rooms with "ghost" in their title) and you won't miss it if they switch hosts!

Oops. I forgot that thread entirely. I offer my apologies. There was another member here on the boards a while back who got banned (more than once) and then bragged about how he was getting around the bans, and I always thought that he was eventually gonna get everything taken away from him. Your situation is clearly quite different. Thanks, Lori, for letting me know. And thanks, Diva, for taking my comment without great offense, even though you probably had every right to be offended.
