Punk,
I've had several problems with this post and now I'm going to go all out.
First off, if you are going to attack something, and least do it with proper spelling.
Second off, you honestly have no right yelling at somebody for expressing their opinion. I think you should apologize to SkippyPaul for your rude remarks as you have no right to attack another DIS member. If you are going to organize a boycott, you should expect to hear some dissent to your opinion and foster your conflict through calm discussion.
Third, VMK hasn't been doing something about taken for only one clear reason to me: Numbers. If VMK were to ban everyone who did taken at some point or another, the amount of players in VMK would decrease. This would show a sign of decline in popularity to the Disney company, and thus they will not continue to fund this branch of advertising (yes, VMK is advertising) and use the money to do something more effective. Sorry to say, but taken actually helps VMK maintain numbers. I'm not saying it's right, just saying that known fact.
Forth, if VMK Staff focused all of their time to the banning of taken, many of the great events (Host events, quests, best guest rooms) would have time taken away from this since VMK staff would only focus on taken.

Logistically, taken is a double-edged sword. Keep it, and you have people complaining about safety and grossness. Get rid of it, you lose numbers and possibly your entire game (which would cost staff their jobs).

I will not be participating in this Anti-Taken club. Through past experiences, I've seen these groups flat out fail while degrading into "Burn the Bay be" chanters on Main Street. You probably won't get anything done by this futile effort. People have been trying since the beginning of taken. It just won't happen.

He doesn't need his own thread. He just has his own way of looking at the whole "taken" issue.

I think that issue on here is DONE.

I really don't care if people do taken, just as long as it isn't sexual,a personal info exchange,or a scam.If people have a problem with it, I think we should just ignore it.When I was a newbie, I tried taken, and after a lot of thinking, I decide it was stupid, and not worth it.And a lot of people figure that out.Now, even though VMK staff doesn't do very much about it, they did do there best to ban the rooms ( though that didn't work out too well. ) And starting a club against it probably won't work out too well either. Maybe politley asking people to stop might work ( or not )but labeling yourself as an " anti- taken club member " would probably just get you banned.
Just my opinion.
Feel free to disagree, just don't flame please.

Well. If its against values to use rooms for taken........in my eyes having a room even for ANTI TAKEN is against values. And you can bet your bottom dollar I will be there to report!!!!!!!!!! We do not use the word taken in our signature now do we need to announce the fact that we are taken by having a room so wheres the problem????????????

So if you organize rooms to boycott taken it is against values as you will still be using the word taken. PM me when and where I will certainly be there with bells on!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure, but VMK isn't very good when it comes to banning now, IMO.

I agree with you RaggedyAnnPrincess. I know that you don't know who your talking to in VMK though-a few things happened to me like this with ages-but I can understand why it's wrong. I dunno if I'm anti-taken or not. I'm in between.
