Nah. Nobody but them and youtube knows what they make, but it is very likely nowhere close to 350K/yr.

According to social blade, their average monthly income is between $1.8K - $29.3K. At the very top end it's $350K, but more likely it's somewhere in the middle. Also, they have expenses, they do a lot of activities that aren't free.

I'd guess they make about 1/2 that, $150K - $180K which is still really good.

I saw another non-Disney Youtuber who has about 450k subs show their actual income in a vlog, and it was $125,000 for 2020. This person makes videos about life after prison, so very different and probably less advertising friendly than an Orlando family channel. That's also before taxes.

In their slight defense, he's probably too young for preschool, and he could possibly go to daycare but it might not be necessary. Plus, times are different with Covid. But hopefully they do get him in preschool and in some playgroups in the future. But there are definitely some horror stories out there with other vloggers and "influencers".

I also forgot to add in my other poster, but I find it very, very creepy and unsettling in their videos when a random fan stops and say hi to the baby. Like... it's weird that strangers on the internet know your kid's name, isn't it?

I think he does have a lot of playtime with other kids, but they don't vlog it because other kids.

Tim was literally just at a media event for the return of Happily Ever After, so I'm not so sure they have been completely removed from Disney media lists.

He was there as someone's plus 1.

At no point did he thank Disney for inviting him out, disclosing anything, etc.

He was invited to go with someone who was invited by Disney. I noticed he didn't cover the dessert party or anything sponsored by Disney at all like the invited vloggers did nor did he thank Disney for inviting them out.

Not a huge deal either way to me, but it's definitely been noticeable that they were dropped. I wonder if and when that will change.

Clearly there are known vloggers who people watch and recognize if they see them. Then there are people like us; we're taking videos of food, and rides and the sights but aren't known vloggers. I have my little YouTube channel (a whopping 39 subscribers) and I love filming my trips. But I am by no stretch of the imagination a "vlogger" - I just get a kick out of shooting and editing travel videos. That no one watches...

I suspect some people think people like us are vloggers but most just ignore us.

Clearly there are known vloggers who people watch and recognize if they see them. Then there are people like us; we're taking videos of food, and rides and the sights but aren't known vloggers. I have my little YouTube channel (a whopping 39 subscribers) and I love filming my trips. But I am by no stretch of the imagination a "vlogger" - I just get a kick out of shooting and editing travel videos. That no one watches...

I suspect some people think people like us are vloggers but most just ignore us.

There are a lot of Disney vloggers with under 1000 subs. Definitely worth checking out if you want unique trip reports.

As someone who works in marketing and has for almost 20 years, influencer marketing is something Disney is 1000% utilizing for their gain. Many first time people/younger families are seeing the videos and TikToks and that’s what is convincing them to go to Disney. We watch a lot of them for planning purposes, especially to help our kids see rides and food and get them excited to ride things. However, I do expect that similar to their crackdown on some Etsy-type sellers, there will be culling of the vloggers sometime soon. I feel like at the very least they could announce a “you tuber annual pass” or something like that is NOT the Florida annual resident rate.
Also, side note, I’ve worked with Disney in the past for professional purposes, and I do think some of the sanctioned bloggers get to use generic video and photos from Disney. That’s why all of their initial photos look the same.

I know Disney provides footage for things like new restaurants and attractions to the vloggers who attend the media events, so not everyone has to keep their camera out on rides.

I don't think it matters whether one is a professional vlogger or just vlogging for family memories, etc. It's all about following the rules of the park and being respectful of other patrons - that applies to all of us when we visit. If they're intrusive, blocking our view, etc. with equipment, etc., then that's not ok regardless of who does it. If Disney allows vloggers on its property, more power to them. Making money while being at the happiest place on the planet can't be all bad!!!!

The thing is - many of the vloggers ARE violating Disney's rules - it's just that Disney chooses not to enforce them. The Resort Property Rules (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/park-rules/) include the following prohibited activities:

"Photography, videotaping or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any activity, for unapproved commercial purposes."

"Unauthorized solicitations of any kind, whether commercial, religious, educational or otherwise, or conducting any unauthorized commercial activities, including solicitations of money or other contributions or donations."

The key word there is "commercial" - is someone making money off the activity? If a vlogger monetizes their video or otherwise uses their content to generate ad revenue, they run into the rules. Same thing with the livestreamers who turn on their superchats to solicit or accept donations while filming from the parks. I've never seen anything where Disney has come out officially to say that these are approved or authorized.

Disney looks the other way because the free marketing and promotion benefit Disney - something that's not likely to change unless Disney starts losing money (either through lost ad revenue by not generating their own content, or because vloggers start doing dumb things that damage Disney's brand). If I was a vlogger whose income depended on Disney, however, I'd be very aware of these rules and that the nonenforcement policy could change any time.

I suspect Disney is aware of at least the major Vloggers and who they are. I may be wrong, but would expect the major ones have contacted Disney at some time and gotten their blessing to be in the parks almost every day recording and broadcasting.
When you read about some of them meeting with Disney execs, Disney is obviously aware of them and approve of what they are doing.
No guesses about the smaller ones with fewer subscribers.

Thanks for sharing! Most of you answered about the vloggers walking around the parks. I'm also wondering how you feel about the dining part. Paging Mr. Morrow and Super Enthused (love them both BTW) vlog all the time in restaurants, often meeting up with other vloggers and enjoying a LOT of adult beverages. Those of you who know them also know that Nate has a loud (infectious) laugh. Would it impact your dining experience, especially if your alone with your partner enjoying a "quiet" dinner (a break from the parks and youngsters' meltdowns we ALL need during a Disney trip) together and listening to a play-by-play about the bread service, beer, appetizer....how to EAT the appetizer, etc......?? Thanks for sharing!

My kiddo is hard of hearing and wears a hearing aid. She has a hard time participating in a restaurant conversation under the best circumstances. I would be frustrated on her behalf if someone was providing a loud play by play of their meal, making it unnecessarily more difficult for our family to hold a conversation.

Actually Nate is pretty respectful in quieter restaurants. He seems to be aware of other guests experiences. He may be louder in the park but I would expect that.
I don't expect church whispers in loud bars or during large media events.

Or they met with specific people to get the proper permission to film as long as it's not backstage/other places they arent supposed to be.

I assume it’s the opposite honestly. Disney has likely contacted them as most of the big names are on the media list and get freebies from Disney.

Generally it seems like Disney is happy with Vloggers unless you paint the parks in an unflattering light. A couple Vloggers have been banned from the property for uploading videos of the backstage areas.

I haven't seen any at the parks but I wouldn't mind seeing a few that I watch. I enjoy their videos when they are alone doing their thing and putting out videos. I do not like the videos when there are a group of them together walking around as they try to "out personality" each other and it would be annoying to see and would be very annoying on a ride.
