Vivian, Stanley and all their friends???

We're leaving for WDW on July 4th. Will be in the parks on the 5th. My kids came running to me a little while ago saying that Vivian (Out of the Box), Stanley and all their animal friends will be at AK on Monday, July 7th. Oddly enough, this is the day we had decided to visit AK. Anyone know anything about this. My kids are big Disney Channel fans.

Starting July 7, a new program will be on the Playhouse Disney Channel called "Stanley's Great Big Animal Adventure." It features Stanley. It is going to be on daily during the month of July. I'm not sure if Vivian is going to be on the daily show, but she does the promo for it. Then at the end of the month, there will be a Stanley marathon on tv (8 hours or so...) which will feature Stanley AND Vivian spending the day at Animal Kingdom -- now it is airing at the end of the month, but I don't know when it was filmed (probably done already?) So, I think your kids just got a bit of the info a little scrambled...

The good news is -- I've heard that Stanley can be found regularly at Rafiki's Planet Watch in Animal Kingdom...so you will probably be able to find Stanley at least dyring your vacation! Maybe someone else can clarify when and where to find Stanley (he's a recent addition to Animal Kingdom!)

By the way, you can also see Stanley at the Playhouse Dinsey show in MGM.

We saw Stanley at AK on our trip last week -- he was supposed to be at Rafiki's Planet Watch, but only Rafiki was there. But, we did see Stanley (along with Chip and Dale and Timon) right outside of the gates as we were exiting the park for the day.

This isn't the answer you were hoping for, but from the promo I saw, the Vivian spots to be shown that day are already taped. They showed her all outfitted in safari-type gear in front of the Tree of Life and/or other parts of the park.

However, to be safe, you can ask Guest Relations if she's there, just like any other character, and they can definitely tell you how/where to catch Stanley.
