Have stayed at both, now own at SVR.
Yes, either one meets your requirements:
1) Kid friendly, warm pool and water features (kids are 4 and 1.5) - advantage SVV with the pirate pool, but SVR does have a great fountain play area (Cascades pool) and water slide.
2) Green spaces to enjoy/nice landscaping - advantage SVR, bigger grounds and more landscaping.
3) Close parking to unit to haul groceries, kids, etc - advantage SVR older sections. The lower density sections at SVR have you parking at your door, no elevators max 2 flights up to an upper unit. The two newest sections at SVR and all of SVV are multi-storey buildings with parking lots (and elevators).
4) very, very clean condo - no advantage. These are run by Sheraton and very well kept up.
5) Activities for our family (fishing, games, movies, etc). No advantage, both resorts have full activity programs.
6) Quiet in the evenings and at night. Advantage SVR - but as PP says, it does depend on where your unit is. The older sections at SVR are much lower density, so generally a lot less opportunity for noise. Avoid pool villas.

Our first offsite was at SVV, booked through Air Canada vacations. We wanted the space for our kids and was much more affordable than Disney. Haven't looked back since, and we now own a week each at two resorts in Orlando. Warning: you might get hooked on it.
