Vistana on I-Drive

We've never gone there but I'm booked for end of September (great deal through my job - yay!) in a 2 bedroom villa. It looked like the nicer of the two villages - am I correct? What do people who have stayed there think? Anything I should know? Thanks!

I've never stayed at this location, but my understanding is that is the newer resort, but there is not as much to do there. Since most of the sections in the Vistana Resort have been renovated, you might prefer it if you'll be spending much time at the resort.

The new huge pool at the Vistana Villages on I-Drive is supposed to be open in February. But it was supposed to opened by last August, then last November, so who knows? I agree that it is much quieter than the Vistana Resort. There is only 1 restaurant now at the Villages, but they are supposed to open more. We liked it because it was so quiet, and it is a short drive to either Universal or Disney World. Sea World is literally a really short drive. We could watch the fireworks from Sea World sitting on our balcony.

Thanks for the info - I didn't realize that the Villages didn't have as much to do onsite as the Resort. We're not planning on spending much time there, but my parents are probably coming with us and I doubt they'll be doing the parks every day, so that's something I'll take into consideration.
