anyone stay at both and how do they compare
we have stayed at windsor hills (and many hotels as well)- liked it, but can't say it was fabulous- it was just good
we will be mom and 2 14 year old teens
we are considering vista cay mostly because of location
plan is 1 disney park, sw, and maybe aquatica or disney water park- have done all before (sw 5 years ago though) except aquatica

any thoughts or different ideas appreciated
i had wanted a lazy river too but I have left it very late (march 11-18) with nothing booked yet

we need min 2 bedrooms with each of us having own bed
thaks

March this year?- that may be cutting it a bit fine. Both are nice resorts - Vista cay is condos and townhomes, Windsor Hills also has pool homes.

I just had to book a home around this date range for myself actually.. lol (I'm an owner there but my homes are booked). Going down on a last minute business trip for a conference, 2 of us, we're far better off in a Windsor Hills townhome than 2 Disney hotel rooms at $175/night each (we have a group conference rate, rooms blocked out, at PoR or Beach Club for the conference).

Global still had a few townhomes left at Windsor Hills, ask them if they can throw in free pool heat, call on the phone tomorrow, they did for me!

Windsor Hills is closer to Disney, Vista Cay, same builder, slightly newer (still not done yet?), right by Universal / Orlando Convention Center instead of WDW.

March is VERY booked, I'd call them tomorrow, or All Star.

I stayed at Vista Cay Nov 25 through December 2nd and just spent Jan 15 through the 22nd at Windsor Hills. The resort amenites are very similiar. We had a beautiful three bedroom/three bath at Vista Cay. It was $125 a night. It is a great location for Sea World (about a mile) and very easy to get to Universal. You can see the convention center from the resort. The pool is nice, but I like the pool at Windor Hills better. Vista Cay has a nice computer area with 4 computers with internet access and printers. Any more questions feel free to ask.
