Can someone tell me if my family is traveling and has onsite reservations but my friends have offsite reservations how will that work if we have 90 day fastpass priority and they have 30 day. Can we still tour together with the same fast passes or will I not be able to plan all our fastpasses together for similar times

On-site guests don't get to book FP+ 90-days in advance... it's 60-days in advance.

Add the off-site guest(s) to your MDE account and ALL of you can make FP+ reservations at the 60-day mark.

ohh thanks thats what I mean been awhile.. so even if offsite guest arent in the room with us we can do the 60 day mark for them too or do they need to be listed with us in our room ?

They don't need to be listed as in your room.

They just need to be connected to you on your MDE account.

Each of you must have valid park tickets for each day of FP+ reservations.

You may want to check this - not sure off-site friends can make FP at 60 days. Anyone?

ohh great thanks I was stressing cause we are actually going to share a villa 2 bedroom but not adding them to the reservation until later They wanted to buy their tickets than pay for their dining plan later but everyone has to be on the dining plan in the room so we were waiting to place them on the reservation. I was hoping I could do it this way.

You're welcome.
Question about what "linked" means...We're in a similar boat (the party we are traveling with is coming a few days after us) and I assume the other party already has an MDX account. So if I'm reading this right we can just add them to our friends list through the "add a guest" feature in MDX and we get get FPs together on the first day of our window?

Yes and make sure you check off the Share Your List at the bottom of your Friend page.

I have this exact same question! My family and my husband's family are arriving within days of each other. I am staying on-site, they are not. I called the MDX app number and the cast member there said I would NOT be able to make FP reservations for them when my 60-day window opens, even if they ARE linked to MDX account? I called again and spoke to someone else, and they said the same thing. I'm confused now.

My SIL was going to buy her tickets today so we could FP everything together, but now she's going to wait after talking to the cast member on the phone. Can anyone confirm that it's possible to make FP reservations for linked family members staying off-site? If so, then I need to call my SIL back...Lol.

If one person on the onsite reservation is grouped with all the offsite people when booking a FP, everyone selected shares the 60-day booking window.

This info is also in the FP FAQ and the SDFP FAQ. It's best not to call and ask CMs because they have highly restricted media for booking FPs and rarely stay onsite.

I answered you in the other thread where you asked the same question.

From what I understand, even tho she is linked to your account but does not have a resort reservation then she can not book her fast passes 60 days out... And I know that sometimes CMs can give wrong info so the only way to find out is to buy the tickets and try if it lets you then great if not then, well there is your answer and she will just have to wait for 30 days and hope they have the same times and if not change yours to book all together.
