Visiting the Boardwalk

I really want to visit the Boardwalk on Saturday when I get to Orlando. Unfortunately, my Disney World Vacation doesn't start until Sunday (Seven days,six nights at Pop Century.) I know you can visit DTD, but is there an easy way to get to the Boardwalk off-site? Thanks y'all!

You can go right to the Boardwalk and let the security person know you are just visiting...they dont have any problem with it

Thanks for the response, but from off-site what is the easiest way to get there? I am driving down, so I have a car. I wanted to drive close, maybe take a bus and grab lunch on the Boardwalk, and then head to DTD later in the night. Any suggestions?

Here's where you basically want to go:

Once you're on Disney property just look for signs for "Epcot Resort Area" and/or "Boardwalk." Look for the light where the Hess station is.

You'll actually enter the resort... they'll give you a parking pass and you can just park in the self- parking to the right as you come in. Walk across to the hotel but rather than go inside the hotel there is a staircase near the front entrance that takes you down to the B'walk itself.

To get to DTD afterwards, make a right out of the parking lot, and a right onto the main road (Epcot Resort Blvd.) At the light by the Hess, make a left and continue straight to DTD.

Edited to add: your other option would be to drive to DTD itself, and take a resort bus to B'walk. Then bus back to DTD later and get your car. Map for DTD:

You're very welcome! We just stayed at Boardwalk in June, and we loved walking around the b'walk and enjoying the atmosphere. Have a great trip!
