Thanks to all of you who responded to my earlier post about crowd levels the second week in June. You were all very encouraging, and I felt like our dates were set, but I just learned that during our three day trip, two of the nights will be Grad night events. Now, I know the park will be closing early on these dates, but what will the crowds be like during the day? Will GN affect the daytime traffic? I would be willing to trade off the earlier closing if we benefitted from lighter crowds during the day. Or will the day be just as bad with people starting the party early? I have no idea what to expect. What do you all think?

We've been there on a grad night before and you never would have known the difference. I'm not an expert, but I think many of the grad night kids all come together on buses, the buses don't arrive until later. Again, I could be wrong on that part, but I do know I didn't see anything different during the day/early evening.

We have been several times on a grad nite and haven't noticed anything different from the rest of time we were there, other than closing a little earlier. We have gone the last week of May, first week of June for the last three years. It should be fine :goodvibes I am sure more people will give more opinions :)

Nope, no difference at all. It just closed early. All the grads are bused in at night, to enter the park once it's closed to everyone else.

Grad Nite starts after the park closes - kids are bussed in from their high schools and don't get there until after 10:00. I went to Grad Nite for my h.s. grad trip 40 years ago :scared1: and I've been a chaperone, too. During the day you'll have whatever crowds you'd normally have; Grad Nite won't make any difference during the day.

We were there on a grad night during the day last May & other than the earlier hours there wasn't any difference in the crowd level at all. In fact, I *think* that it was fairly quiet that day. As we were leaving bus after bus after bus loaded with students were entering one of the side gates but we were not affected by this at all. :)
