Visiting Las Vegas...Dinner buffet?

We would like crab legs on the buffet.

Where do you prefer: Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace; Wynn Buffet at Wynn; or AYCE Buffet at Palms Casino?

My wife and I prefer The Buffet at Wynn over AYCE or Bacchanal.

The crab legs in particular were horrible at Bacchanal on our last visit.

I would check the current menus/prices for places you are considering. Been a few years since we were in Vegas and things might have changed. Prices can also vary widely from one place to the next depending on what is on the menu. If you gamble, might also see if there are any comps related to food/restaurants that might pay some or all of a particular meal.

Wynn is definitely the best quality. If you’re only going to do one, that’s the one to do. No contest.

To be honest, it depends. If all I want to do is chow down on some crab, I'm heading to AYCE at $43 (Friday) for Prime Rib and crab. It's about half the price of the other two ($75 and $80) and offers more bang for the buck. If I'm in a sample a lot of nice things mood, I'll head to one of the other two. But note that the other two create a sort of arms race where you might not want something because it doesn't look expensive enough. And that kind of defeats the reason for a buffet. But other than that they're both nice. Note the Palms has a lobster buffet Wednesday and Thursday for $65 for when you're in a lobster mood. Be advised. A lot of people are in a lobster mood.
