Am hoping for some advice from some experienced DLP visitors.
Have been twice before but a long time ago and with friends, this is first trip with cynical husband and very excited 4 year old son.
Am going on Nov 6th through to 10th so am there for the Bonfire Spectacular and our last day should apparently be the first day of Christmas season.
How busy it is usually at this time of year? Have avoided half term here so am hoping it will be a little quieter although I realise the bonfire season will attract more people.
Re the Christmas season starting on our last day - would we actually see much of this? Wasnt sure how it would be possible for them to have it all ready more or less over night or is it a gradual process during the week?
Am intending to go to Buffalo Bill's one night as well as eating at Rainforest Cafe, and Blue Lagoon - seen mixed reviews on both places but things seem to have gone back to their high standars. Fingers crossed! Friends we are going with love Buffalo Bills and recommend it so I am game for that.
Breakfast - stating at Newport Bay - would like to do a character breakfast but woudl consider a lunch or tea too. Whats best value for money and should we go to the one in the park rather then the one at the hotel?
Can we book a Fantasyland breakfast every day if we really wanted to?
Am so hoping cynical husband enjoys this trip as I have talked about nothing else for years, waiting until DS was old enough. Have told him he could go and play golf one morning if he couldnt face Mickey and he cheered at that prospect!
Am sorry for the rambling questions, but these are the things that keep popping into my head whilst typing!
many thanks in advance
Hazel
