Is there somewhere that lists everything that has changed since 2006?

Thanks!

The major changes are in DCA. But they are done yet. Off the top of my head:

Disneyland: Star Tours 2.0, new parade, POTC is updated to include Black Beard and Davy Jones (not sure when they added Jack Sparrow so that may be "new" since 2006 too)

DCA: Orange Stinger is now Silly Symphony Swings, Mullholland Madness is now Goofy's Sky School (retheme), Maliboomer is gone, Minnie's Fly Girls show by Soarin', LOTS of construction walls, there's a walkway between Tower of Terror and Fliks Fantasy Fair, no parade currently, WORLD OF COLOR, Electronica Night Party (soon to be Mad T Party), Little Mermaid Ride

Looks like a lot to navigate, but http://dldhistory.com/2k11timeline.asp?Page=17&PicPage=1&Action=2006 seems to have a lot of info on Disneyland. Ditto http://www.finddisney.com/timeline_data.htm but for both parks

From these pages and my memory it looks like other things which may be new to you at Disneyland would be:

*Jedi Training Academy
*Finding Nemo Subs
*Pirate's Lair at Tom Sawyer Island
*Pixie Hollow
*Small World (addition of Disney characters/new scene)
*New Fantasmic! dragon/improved effects
*Sleeping Beauty Castle Walk-Through
*Moved Disney Gallery (in what was once the bank)
*Revamped Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
*Captain EO Tribute
*"House of the Future" in Innoventions
*"Plussing" to Snow White's Scary Adventures
*Ugly new walls at Alice in Wonderland
*Lots of new menus

For Disney California Adventure, it might be quicker to name the things there that HAVEN'T changed. :rotfl: 3Minnies1Mickey's list covers most the things I thought of. Also new to you (I think) are Toy Story Midway Mania and the Blue Sky Cellar attraction. There are also new eateries such as Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta, Paradise Garden Grill, and I think the Asian eatery at Paradise Wharf is new to you too. And Duffy is there!

A lot of areas you would have visited in 2006 in DCA have been redressed or are behind construction walls at the moment.

Wow! I missed a lot. In my defense my trips were 2005 and 2007, then 2009. It's hard to remember what we saw on which trip. I'm not sure if TSMM was open on our 2007 trip (I know we didn't go on it during our whirlwind 2 days-post Christmas craziness).

I Googled to try to find the answer...I was very surprised to see how many new additions there were at DL.

TSMM aside, you caught DCA things that I didn't. And I used the Internet. :flower3:

The previous posts did well with covering what's changed with the rides, here's some new stuff with restaurants. McDonald's has been taken out, so no more fries. The menu has changed in Hungry Bear (Critter Country), the place in New Orleans right by Haunted Mansion that used to sell the McDs fries now sells bread bowls (which are great), no more amazing chocolate cake in the Golden Horseshoe (the new stuff is half the size, same price, and has nuts). There is a great new restaurant called Big Thunder Ranch BBQ in Frontierland. It is an all you can eat place with ribs, chicken, cornbread, coleslaw, corn, and beans. There is also a really cute show that is fun for the whole family. If you save room for dessert they have a huge pizzooki (half baked cookie with vanilla ice cream), it's only $7 more, and is more than enough for 3-4 people. If you want to do a sit down restaurant this one and Blue Bayou top my list, however this one comes out on top for sure. Other various Quick Service Restaurants have changed up their menu including Tomorrowland Terrace, Trubadore Tavern, and Village Haus (both Fantasyland). There is a brand new restaurant on Main St. where the annual pass processing center used to be, it is called Jolly Holiday.

California Adventure is undergoing massive changes, but on the pier, there are a couple of new restaurants. I've been to the Italian place (pretty much DCA's version of DL's Pizza Port). I haven't tried the pizza yet, but the 5 cheese ravioli was excellent. It's vegetarian, but it was really really good!

In Downtown Disney there are a couple of stores that have opened up that I would definitely visit. D Street is pretty funky and fun, and Vault 28 has some awesome Disney couture things. I've bought some clothes there, and even though it's a bit expensive, it's WAY cute.

If you are into drinking, there's a new bar called Trader Sam's in the Disneyland hotel. I've heard great things about it, but haven't tried it yet.

Yea we went in 05 and that was the first time I had ever been to DCA and I was very unimpressed. Aside from TT, Soarin and grand rapids there was really nothing else that interested me there (I hate big roller coasters). We did DCA in half a day and were done with it.

Then we went last year and it was all different. ALOT more to do and see. I went from not liking DCA to looking forward to going to it again. Most of the changes have been mentioned already. In DL one thing I noticed changed is the princess fantasy faire. In 05 I remember it being a stage show where they had Snow white acted out. That's all it was and it wasn't called fantasy faire.

POC has a lot of different stuff as well that's pretty neat.
