The previous posts did well with covering what's changed with the rides, here's some new stuff with restaurants. McDonald's has been taken out, so no more fries. The menu has changed in Hungry Bear (Critter Country), the place in New Orleans right by Haunted Mansion that used to sell the McDs fries now sells bread bowls (which are great), no more amazing chocolate cake in the Golden Horseshoe (the new stuff is half the size, same price, and has nuts). There is a great new restaurant called Big Thunder Ranch BBQ in Frontierland. It is an all you can eat place with ribs, chicken, cornbread, coleslaw, corn, and beans. There is also a really cute show that is fun for the whole family. If you save room for dessert they have a huge pizzooki (half baked cookie with vanilla ice cream), it's only $7 more, and is more than enough for 3-4 people. If you want to do a sit down restaurant this one and Blue Bayou top my list, however this one comes out on top for sure. Other various Quick Service Restaurants have changed up their menu including Tomorrowland Terrace, Trubadore Tavern, and Village Haus (both Fantasyland). There is a brand new restaurant on Main St. where the annual pass processing center used to be, it is called Jolly Holiday.
California Adventure is undergoing massive changes, but on the pier, there are a couple of new restaurants. I've been to the Italian place (pretty much DCA's version of DL's Pizza Port). I haven't tried the pizza yet, but the 5 cheese ravioli was excellent. It's vegetarian, but it was really really good!
In Downtown Disney there are a couple of stores that have opened up that I would definitely visit. D Street is pretty funky and fun, and Vault 28 has some awesome Disney couture things. I've bought some clothes there, and even though it's a bit expensive, it's WAY cute.
If you are into drinking, there's a new bar called Trader Sam's in the
Disneyland hotel. I've heard great things about it, but haven't tried it yet.
