Well, I think all of us who are going the first full week of December are scared that there will be "big crowds" and that is why no one has posted a note yet to see how many people will be there at that time ;).

Fear not, it will be wonderful.

Ok, what other nuts out there are planning to see MVMCP, Spectromagic, Wishes, Electrical Parade (or whatever it's called now), Illuminations, Candelight Processional, the two tree lightings, and walk the Osbourne family lights?

We'll be there 5 days and nights and I don't think we can get it all in. Someone told me that they don't open the Osbourne lights until close to the time that they put on Spectromagic. We'll only be in MGM one day, so I'm afraid one of them is going to get cut. Any suggestions?

I'll be one of those nuts trying to see all that in a short time too!!!

We'll be there Dec 8 - 12; we're going to try doing Animal Kingdom after our early morning arrival, then move on to MGM for the Osborne Lights, and then have dinner at California Grill!!!

We'll also do some hotel hopping to see the decorations, then do MVMCP, see the parade, and of course, Wishes!!!

We'll spend the whole day at Epcot - and of course do Candlelight Processional and see Illuminations!!

Then we'll visit MK again, and squeeze in a sleigh ride and a nice dinner at Artist Point!!!!

Have a great trip - maybe we'll see ya there!!!!

The Osbourn lights are each night, generally as soon as it get dark they go on.
Spectro (this is the electrical parade in MK) is usually one night during the week and then again on Saturday, sometimes it is held twice on Saturday. Last year it was 6:00 during the week and then 9:00 and 11:00 on Saturday.
If you plan to do Spectro on a Saturday you could see the Osbourn lights in MGM around 6:00 or 7:00 and then take the bus over to the MK for Spectro that evening.

We'll be there Dec. 5-11 and trying to get it all in too! We're going to concentrate on the Christmas stuff first- MVMCP on two nights and the Osborne lights- two firsts for us. We've done Candelight Proc. before and may try that again too. Anything on top of that is gravy! We have a Fantasmic dinner planned also. We will try to see Spectro on Monday night if they have it- will the hours ever come out???
Can't wait till Dec.!!!!!princess:

:wave2:

We will be there at the same time! Our trip is December 3rd through the 11th. Our trip will consist of MVMCP, CP, Osborne lights, tree lightings and a Wishes birthday cruise. If I had to choose between Osborne or Spectro, I'd choose Osborne. Spectro is shown all year while Osborne is just the holiday season. Hopefully, you can do both though!

Have a great trip! :sunny:

DD4 and I will also be there 12/8-12/12. We're doing MVMCP on the 9th. We aren't doing any of the other Christmas stuff, just planning on enjoying the parks with (hopefully) light crowds and great weather.

December 3 through 7 for just the two of us this time.
I have never been at Christmas so I'm focusing on just Christmas stuff. California Grill on arrival evening; WS on the 4th during the day for all the Christmas decoration/santas and then Osbourne Lights that night; daytime resort hopping on the 5th with LTT ressie and MVMCP that night; Ak the next day and WS tree lighting that night; MK on the 7th with GF afternoon tea and then Candlelite Processional dinner at Chef de France that night. Come home (SOB!) on the 8th. I can't wait.

DD9 and I will be there 12/4 to 12/11.

We're flying in for the first time--have always driven before.

I think I have the same goals, MVMCP, Osbourne Lights, CP, seeing the resorts.

I've never been during this time, so I'm getting excited!

My 4yo and I are going Dec 5-12 and will be meeting my sister and my 81 yo mother for her first WDW trip. I think I'm more excited than she is!

I also plan to go a few days early so I can spend a few days there with just my 4yo.

T&B

We're celebrating DD's 4th birthday, so we're planning lots of princess stuff. PS for CRT, 1900 Park Fare, PSB and the tea party too. We'll be at MVMCP on 12/9. Trying not to commando plan too much else!

Is anyone else staying at Beach Club? It's our first time there.

Also, what's the lime green reference about? Sorry, I'm new.

Lime Green is the color for DISers :) If you see someone wearing lime green they just might be from here!

Your thread just made me realize something: I knew I was going in Dec, but I don't think it hit me that it's Christmasy then! I've been just thinking of MVMCP as a glorified E-night. I hadn't even thought about planning to see the Osborne Lights, or any of the other X-mas stuff. I better get to work! Thanks for the post, see you all there!

Me & DGD, 8, will be there Dec 3-11.(trip counter is off by 1 day cuz I decided to go down Fri. nite instead) Will be doing Cirque, Mvmcp, & HDDR. Not sure yet about CP. I have more ps's for this trip than anyother I have taken. Want to see Osborne lights and Fantasmic. There is so much more to do this time of year, I kinda wish we could stay for 2 weeks. :wave2:

We will be there form 12-4 - 12-10. We plan on doing everything, or at least trying to. We just hope that Spectro is playing at the MMVMCP. If not we saw it in April. It still would be nice though.

We will be there from Dec.6-8. MVMCP on Dec. 7th. Celebrating twin DD 4th birthday. DD12 and DS10 will be coming too and we will be enjoying the Christmas lights all over Disneyworld!
Can't Wait!!

We will be there 12/4-12/11 too!! And Yes I am worried about the crowds, but hoping if they are higher they will extend the hours, but with MVMCP, maybe not. We are celebrating our DS4' birthday on 12/7!! Can't wait! This is our first time down during Xmas time.

I too will be there, I am bringing my son, my parents and my BF its their 1st time ever at disney. I hope they catch the disney bug because I want this to be the 1st of many trips.

we will be arriving on the 6th - 11th and are staying at Shades Of Green, My dad's retired from the airforce.

We plan on going to MVMCP on the Thursday the 9th. It's been killing me not to have the park hours and the times of the shows so I can plan. ::yes::

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will be there from 12/4-12/11 and plan on seeing every nighttime show there is to see. Not sure if we'll succeed but I really don't see why we won't. As for crowds, who knows. I think it's safe to say that it certainly won't be as packed as it is during the summer or other special holidays. Everything may not be a walk-on but it won't be THAT bad.

We'll be doing MVMCP one night, Illuminations, Osbourne Lights the same night as Fantasmic, CP and the tree lighting in Epcot. Spectro shouldn't be a problem either but if not, it's ok. I prefer the Main Street Electrical parade anyway.
