do we need to visit DC first in order to get our "free" ticket to busch gardens? we wanted to do BG a few days prior to DC but will switch them if necessary...

Nope you can go to Busch Gardens first, and for as many days as you want prior to! There will be a ticketing booth for DC at Busch Gardens address, and they will print you off the ticket you need as long as you bring your printout of your ressie from home!! We did the same thing for Seaworld when we went! We did seaworld 2 days prior to doing DC! Have fun!

I thought it was just one visit to BG! You mean I could go 14 days if I wanted to? I thought that meant it had to be used in 14 days.

Yep, you get a ticket for 14 days, to eithier, seaworld, aquatica, or busche garden!
