Visiting AoA from another resort

We are staying at WL in November, but would like to take DS to AoA to see the Cars area. Aside from the pool are all other areas going to remain open to visitors, particularly the Radiator Springs area? I totally understand why they have room key access only to the pool, just wondering if there are any other areas that are going to have limited access. I'd hate to waste the time getting over there and then not be able to see anything.

Also... Can we get a bus from TTC to AoA? Or will we have to go by way of a park?

Other than the pool, all the resorts allow people who aren't staying there to check it out, eat at the restaurants, etc.

There aren't any buses from the TTC to resorts, so you would have to go by way of a park or DTD. From WL, taking the boat to MK and then the bus to AoA would probably be your best bet.

Thanks. That was my guess, but I know none of the resorts we visited last year had locked pools either, so just wanted to double check they weren't restricting anything else.
