Friends of ours are staying at the Polynesian during the same week we are staying at the Beach Club. We have an ADR at O'hana to eat together and they invited us to stay after dinner to see the Wishes fireworks from the beach and swim in the Volcano pool. I thought I read somewhere that swimming in other resort pools is not allowed. Can anyone confirm this?:confused3

There is a sticky at the top of this page with FAQ about this subject. Last I heard the Poly was issuing wrist bands to Poly guests as a requirement to swim there.

and bc also gives wristbands so do not try there either

Last trip we visited 3 hotels and walked by the pools. Of course at Storm A Long Bay they had signs saying you needed wrist bands, but at the Poly and Wilderness lodge I saw two families that had to go back inside to get wristbands for the pool.

Thanks everyone! sorry....I did not even see that sticky. I was remembering seeing it was not allowed in a post somewhere. Maybe we will just watch fireworks or something with them or talk them into going back to MK with us for EMH. Thanks again.

Grab a Dole Whip from Captain Cooks either on your way to the Poly beach to watch fireworks or for the walk over to the Ticket and Transpo Center for your ride back to your resort.

The Poly grounds are really pretty, especially with all the lights lit along the paths!

My gosh, what a great suggestion!!! I had no idea you could get a Dole Whip any other place than Aloha Isle. Thank you so so much....

for the walk over to the Ticket and Transpo Center for your ride back to your resort.

Should be noted that you don't go to TTC to get a ride to a resort (unless your resort is on the monorail line and you could just board the monorail at the Poly itself). There are no resort buses at TTC. To get to resort buses you would need to go to the Magic Kingdom.
