Assuming that people with MNSSHP tickets can make FP+ reservations the day of the party from 4-7 and Disney continues to let partygoers in around 4 would we be able to make FP+ reservations at two separate parks that day if we use our regular 7 day ticket to visit another park earlier in the day? I know the current rule is you have to make all 3 FP times at the same park and can only make same day FP's once you park hop. But-since we would be using two separate tickets I'm not sure how that would work in the system. So, as an example if we visit AK in the am with our regular tickets and attend MNSSHP in the evening-would I be able to make our 60 day advance FP+ reservations for both AK and MK the same day as long as I have both tickets connected to our reservation?

Please don't flame for this as I may be wrong, but I didn't think any FP could be made using MNSSHP tix?

All I have heard about it for this year is we wont know until the first party so I am really asking a "what if" question but I am trying to decide whether we should spend the extra money for park hoppers. We usually don't and it is over $100 difference for our family so I'm on the fence about it still. We have been to MNSSHP in the past and have been able to get FP up until the party start time but that was the old FP system. The whole one park a day thing is complicating plans for me :) Since our tickets are separate I think that if party goers could obtain FP+ up until party start time we could make FP reservations in advance for both parks we visit that day-but I am no expert and could be totally wrong!! :)

but you could be right!:goodvibes we are on the fence about hoppers as well...mostly because we are only going 3 days and the party is on the last day, so I am kinda nervous to leave our only MK time be MNSSHP, especially since it's our first time ever attending MNSSHP

Any Disney experts have an opinion on how that will work this year with the new FP+ system? If we could do FP for 2 separate parks on the day we have MNSSHP tickets I think we would be happy with standard tickets and not pay the upgrade for hoppers..ahh..decisions...decisions!!

I don't know anything about this either. We are thinking about going down for Halloween night. We have the weekday select ticket so we could do a park in th morning, which we plan to do, and pay extra to do MNSSHP. Just don't know though....

I don't think we will know until the first party happens and people report back what they were able to do.

I went last year to two MNSSHP with FP+ (I was at POP Century who got it first) and I was able to book FP+ from 4-7 pm and only enter with the party ticket. There has been lots of fine tuning of the system and upgrades to make changes so this loop may have been closed.

well we are going on 9/1 lol....sooooooo, I guess I have to wait to see what happens. Dang, I just know I'm going to cave for hoppers..any Labor Day Weekend advice?
as of now our plan is
AK Sat 8/30 (and hopping to MK EMH if we get hoppers)also have to switch resorts this day, but DD and DS will most likely stay at a park while we do the change from on site to off near AK.
DHS 8/31
Epcot 9/1 then on to MNSSHP

With hoppers tho we would do both DHS and Epcot on 8/31, and MK all day 9/1 including the party. Maybe even hit a park on arrival day, 8/29 instead if I knew we'd arrive soon enough and then just go with 4 day non-hoppers. Prob MK. We're driving tho so could fluctuate.

To complicate matters further we are only on site 8/29-8/30...then off-site.

Last year we went to AK in the morning and had our 3 FP+s setup from 4-7 at MK. We had no issues with this strategy.

This ^ would be awesome right here, like the OP said it can possibly remove the need of hoppers. I would still prefer hoppers but the $ kinda went to MNSSHP, lol

Allright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have hope lol :thumbsup2 we will be off-site at the time of our MNSSHP so I won't know until 30 days out if I can book on those tix, but for those of you on site, and hopefully going to the early Sept parties~ please post if you can make FP+ on your MNSSHP tix 60 days out.

Now lets hope I don't mix up which is which...I'm guessing I swipe the MNSSHP tix or does the MB automagically identify that code # after 4 at MK? I'm noew to any changes since 2009

Were you able to make your 3 FP+ reservations at AK in the morning and then an additional 3 FP+ reservations for MK from 4-7??

Wont we know the answer before the opening day of the party? People onsite making their FP reservations 60 days out will know by their choices on MyDisneyExperience if they link their standard and MNSSHP tickets to their reservation....I think?????

I could be completely wrong, and honestly I have zero experience, but everything I've read and researched for our up coming trip says there isn't FP during MNSSHP..?

Not during the party...however we are talking about getting FP+ reservations between 4pm and 7pm using JUST your MNSSHP ticket as your method of entry. Party goers have been historically allowed in beginning at 4pm with their party ticket even though the party doesn't start until 7pm. So we want to know if we can get FP+ ressies during that 3 hour "pre-party" window.

I also want to make sure that when we enter for the party, the tap-style will recognize that we are using party tix instead of a PARK tix when scanning the magic band. But we may just use the hard ticket instead of the band to play it safe.

Last year we only had mvmcp ticket for that day of party linked to mde....we made 3fp+for preparty time 4-7....i was nervous that when i tapped my magic band to get in for the party it would take one of my regular ticket days and not the party ticket, but it worked out fine. You can tap mickey with magic band for party and enjoy fp+ by linking partu ticket :cool1:

I hope I'm not overstepping or going off topic, but I'm having a hard time with my touring plan. We've never done hoppers or MNSSHP before. Now I want both, but the cost for both would he around $500. Is one better than the other? We arrive late on Sept 23rd & leave afternoon of 28th. The only MNSSHP we can attend would be Friday, Sept 26. Thank you and I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place!
