The pins were all different prices and the discounts ranged from 35-80% off. There were several that light up (electrical parade pins). The pins ranged in (original) price from $6.50-$15.50.

No all of the Rainforest Cafe's around here have closed:( .

For laughs later I want to add up the original prices of everything I bought and see how much this would have actually cost me.

Isn't the Rainforest at the Menlo Mall still open? We were there last fall.
I'd like to see how much you saved. We did that in WDW when we went to the outlets and had saved over $1000.You can only imagine what we spent though.LOL But many tshirts were $3 or $5 marked down from $25.We even got DCL shirts that we later saw they were still selling on the ship.

starwood,
Glad you made out so well! The pins I bought yesterday were 80% off...good for trading, especially at $1.70 each!

dis4me,
Yes, there is still a RFC in the Menlo Park Mall. In Jersey Gardens, they have replaced the RFC with Kahunaville. The theming is similar to RFC and the food was pretty good when we ate there several months ago.

With everyone running to the Character Warehouse over the weekend or the next several days, we should wear our lime green ribbons, and have a minney Disney meet!:teeth:

I try to avoid this mall on the weekends, because as Annie&Hallie'sMom mentioned, it gets crazy!!

Hi all I just got back. Thank you for the tip for an extra 10% off for not receiving the mailing. I was a little disapointed with the selection compared to 2000. But we did buy a couple of baseball hats and some pins.

The mall wasn't crowded at all tonight.

I went yesterday and bought mostly pins. My boys picked out a lot of the $1.70 ones but also a few of the limited addition ones for under $3. I wish I knew about the 10% off thing! I have nothing to gripe about since I saved over $420!!!!

Estimated savings was approximately $186.00. If these weren't on sale I would have paid almost $300.00.

Starwood~ I just noticed your location. I live in Dumont. We are neighbors!

My brother lives in Dumont - on Clark St.

Ok, I need to know who was there between 10 and 11 AM. Between my DH & I we spent nearly $220. :o But plenty of stuff was bought as gifts (for friends, my brother's birthday). I thought the pins were definitely higher priced than in 2000 (which was disappointing). Some of the CA stuff was very cool. But their sizing was a little strange. They'd have piles of the same shirt, but only in S. Or piles of sweatshirts, but only M. Still, we obviously did some serious damage. After all the stuff I bought as gifts, I really didn't get that much for me (although I couldn't resist the stuffed Mickey in his tux. At $9.50 how could I?). I KNOW I will be going back before they close.

And thanks again for the 10% tip. I told the guy that he should check out this board. It would be cool if he would post and let us know where he's going and when. It would be a win-win for us all (well maybe not for the wallets).
